Dropshipping refers to a process whereby products are made-to-order and sent to customers directly by our trusted third-party printer (read more about our printer below). By choosing to dropship, we are reducing potential paper waste, and carbon emissions caused by bulk printing for the sake of keeping a full inventory.
We are getting the product sent to you quicker because our affiliate company has offices all over the world. Essentially, whichever of their offices is closest to your delivery address – that’s the place that will print the order, and that’s the place that will post to your home. This gives us the ability to save on pollution and carbon emissions by cutting the need to have a physical product travel long distances from one office to your home.
Your prints are printed on premium matte art print paper that is responsibly sourced from forest farms. This paper is sourced in accordance with strict regulations as set forth by the Forest Stewardship Council. FSC-certified forests are managed with consideration for people, wildlife and the environment. They are also independently audited to ensure they consistently meet these regulations.
We are conscious of paper waste, and as a result we’ve cut out physical thank-you cards and business cards. We’re also communicating electronically, via email and social media messages, to cut the need for physical correspondence that would inevitably end up as waste. The elimination of these paper goods also allows us to focus solely on customer service and print design, rather than potentially unsustainable paper marketing.
Your products are printed with water-based inks comprised mainly of naturally occurring substances, which offer an alternative to PVC inks that contain plastisol toxic chemicals. The inks we use are 100% non-hazardous, toxin-free and completely vegan friendly. They also meet the strictest industry standards set forth by Oeko-Tex, Global Organic Textiles, Residues Standard List, and the Association of Textile Chemists and Colourists.
When you make a purchase with us at Little Blank Spaces, you can be confident that your artwork is not only beautiful, but good for the planet.
